I am a painter drawn to the expressive language of abstraction—where emotion, memory, and chance converge on the canvas. Sometimes my work begins with a clear and personal story; other times, it unfolds in the rhythm of paint and intuition, revealing its meaning only as I create. Inspiration finds me in unexpected places—song lyrics, fragments of imagery, bits of typography, or pieces of ephemera that whisper their own quiet poetry.

I am endlessly captivated by open horizons—the calm, boundless space where earth meets sky. There is something deeply emotional in that sense of vastness, a breath of freedom and possibility that drifts into much of my work, both in composition and spirit.

I’m drawn to the beauty of the imperfect—the faded, the peeling, the time-worn. These surfaces speak to the stories that linger beneath what is seen. Through layers of texture, color, and spontaneous gesture, I seek to capture the raw pulse of feeling—the movement, energy, and impermanence that make a moment, or a mark, come alive.
